Yahav - Educating For Zionism
The standard curriculum of Yahav – Educators for Zionism is a humanistic Zionist educational program that reflects the values of the Declaration of Independence. It includes ten text-based study sessions. During these sessions, we will delve into, explore, and uncover Zionist writings and the thoughts of the founders of Zionism, which are foundational to the establishment of the State of Israel. Through these texts, we will conduct a thorough examination of current Zionist actions and possibilities with the goal of fostering social change.

Sabres
Sabres was created in response to social alienation, with the simple goal of connecting people through authentic conversations and shared experiences.
The program provides structured opportunities for meaningful encounters between new immigrants and long-time Israelis. Our mission is to foster genuine friendships and strengthen the sense of belonging and mutual responsibility within Israeli society.
Our vision is a connected, multicultural Israeli society that welcomes immigrants with compassion and deepens our collective sense of belonging.

High Schools
Seminars with GEFEN
engaging with Zionism should start in high schools and in response to needs that have emerged in recent years, we at Yahav develop and deliver programs tailored for high school students. These programs align with the content taught in schools and the organization’s values, which include Zionism, meaningful service, Jewish identity, Judaism as culture, social responsibility, and more. We build and tailor the curriculum specifically to the needs of each school, based on coordination with school contacts. Our goal is to create a successful and accurate program, and therefore we operate within the GEFEN system of the Ministry of Education.

At Yahav, we believe in texts and cherish profound thought. When we founded the organization, we identified a profound need to make Zionist writings accessible to our generation, aiming to connect them with the great ideas that lie at the foundation of the Zionist movement.
To this end, we have collected and edited seminal texts—a process we continue to renew each year—that establish the core values and the hope upon which the pursuit of an exemplary society is built. Through these books, we are consolidating a contemporary Zionist infrastructure, delivering our curricula, and exposing many to an extraordinary world of Zionist thought that remains deeply relevant today.
It is said that “great is study that leads to action.” For us, these books serve as the spiritual foundation for the active work we strive to do and the change we seek to inspire within Israeli society. Our books have also been translated into English and Spanish, with the goal of fostering a shared narrative alongside our brothers and sisters in Jewish communities worldwide.

Zionism in Command
“Commanding Zionism” is a text collection in Hebrew that includes short pieces of prose, poetry, and Zionist texts from leaders of the past and present. The collection weaves together excerpts written during and between Israel’s wars and integrates segments about fallen soldiers and commanders from the recent war.
The collection is dedicated to commanders and soldiers, to the wars and fighters who serve as models of leadership and fighting spirit based on values and moral dedication to their actions.
We are pleased to make this significant book accessible to all interested, and especially to IDF soldiers and commanders, pre-military preparatory programs, private organizations, and individuals who see value in this matter.
