The Tikkun Leil Shavuot is the flagship event of “Yahav – Educators for Zionism.” It is rooted in Jewish tradition and heritage while renewing and adapting them to our times. The event is open to the public and takes place each year in the days leading up to the Shavuot holiday. Throughout the evening, multiple rounds of lectures are held simultaneously, featuring leading speakers from diverse fields. The goal is to spark thought and discussion around the State of Israel, Israeli society, current events, and the vision for our future.

Tisha B’Av is a time for reflection and introspection – a day of mourning for past destruction, but also an opportunity to consider the breakdowns of the present. At Yahav – Educators for Zionism, we host an annual evening of study that includes the reading of traditional sources, shared discussion, and a contemporary lens on Jewish tradition. In an open and youthful space, fellows, friends, and guests come together to ask meaningful questions about the state of the nation, personal responsibility, and the hope for building a better future. The event is open to all – come learn, listen, talk, and be part of it.

At Yahav – Educators for Zionism, we believe that the Zionist conversation must continue during military service as well. That’s why we regularly give lectures to soldiers and commanders from all units – exploring themes of Zionism, identity, and meaning. Want us to come to your base too? During Hanukkah, Yahav – Educators for Zionism hosts a festive learning event open to the public. The session includes exploration of traditional texts, contemporary thought, and open discussion.

At Yahav – Educators for Zionism, we take students out into the field for immersive seminars, journeys, and special activity days – experiential spaces for learning, discussion, and shaping a Zionist identity. Through tours, workshops, and meaningful conversations, we inspire connection, critical thinking, and deeper understanding around questions of nation, state, and society.

Twice a year, the fellows of Yahav – Educators for Zionism come together for an in-depth seminar filled with content, conversation, and connection. These seminars are opportunities to deepen personal and collective identity, engage with the values that guide Yahav, and strengthen the bonds within our vibrant community of changemakers – thoughtful, active, and impactful.
