Hope of all hopes

The Yahav curriculum is led by outstanding students from Israeli society, who receive a scholarship for their role in guiding throughout the year, allowing them the opportunity to pause their professional training and focus on doing good and just work for others during the academic year. In the spirit of Zionism—which requires respecting every person as a human being—Yahav does not view its instructors as mere tools for a great mission. We are all individuals. Each one of us is a goal in itself, and thus we see the process that Yahav instructors undergo during their training as one of the organization's central objectives. Therefore, we offer them a "complete package": on one hand, fulfilling work through educating the younger generation in Israel to engage in Zionist action in all areas of life. On the other hand, an in-depth study of Zionist principles with a select group of program instructors. This program is the "Hope of all hopes" where our instructors participate in monthly meetings, trips, and seminars throughout the year to develop both as individuals and as a cohesive action group. At Yahav, we believe in combining deep learning with meaningful action. In-depth study, self-examination, and action both as individuals and as a group are all required from Yahav instructors, who were selected from hundreds of their peers. This is Yahav's way: training hearts for our generation’s work alongside the work itself. Learning and action, side by side, to improve and enhance the existing reality.
